in response to the death of his sister-in-law
Stacy Young, who was killed in a Toughman Contest®
. This endeavor launches
the organization
that fulfills the mission of CombativeSports.Org.
The fundamental purpose of CombativeSports.Org
is to promote the values of safe, honorable, honest, and fair competition.
We are in need of your help, get involved, please
donate.
CombativeSports.Org is
about creating a national combative sports organization with a duty to bring legislative
change and oversight. Legislative change will include criminalizing
illegal actions and insisting on maximum safety for participants at all events. The
website seeks to communicate risks and health concerns, the current and proposed legislation,
the rules and requirements for each type of combative sport, and to answer
the question of the public.
CombativeSports.Org seeks
to increase the awareness of the need for fundamental change in all types of
combative sports. This includes but is not limited to professional and
amateur boxing, kickboxing, martial arts, mixed martial arts, extreme forms
of combat, and cage style fighting.
